Multiple Myeloma Patients and Survivors Must Pursue the Best of both Conventional and Non-Conventional Therapies to Manage Their Cancer-

Hi David- I read your story and wonder if you are still in remission with Multiple myeloma.
I was diagnosed in 2008 after breaking 4 vertebrae in my spine. Did all kinds of chemo and radiations and did stem cell transplant twice. My disease is progressing very fast at this point and the doctors have lost hope.

My M-spike is 5.01 and my IGG is 7000 . Do you think that the Antineoplastons may work?
I hope you are still around and doing well to give me hope to beat this thing.
Sincerely, Suzy

Hi Suzy-

I am sorry to read of you MM challenges. I will try to answer your questions. Yes, I am still in complete remission from multiple myeloma.

Yes, antineoplaston therapy may work but keep several things in mind.

  • First, I don’t know if the Burzynski clinic is taking new patients. You should call them to discuss.
  • Second, ANP is expensive and may not be covered by your insurance.
  • Third, please ask the clinic about both the liquid form of ANP as well as the capsule form. It is possible for you to combine capsules with other integrative MM therapies such as curcumin, green tea extract, milk thistle, others- all of which I continue to take daily.

  • Lastly, I just wrote a blog post about CBD oil enhancing the efficacy of Velcade- has Velcade been one of your chemotherapy regimens?

I have remained in complete remission from my multiple myeloma since ’99 by living an evidence-based, non-toxic, anti-myeloma lifestyle through nutrition, supplementation, detox, exercise, bone health and mind-body therapies. Cannabidiol (CBD) kills multiple myeloma and enhances Velcade against MM-

These results showed that CBD by itself or in synergy with BORT strongly inhibited growth, arrested cell cycle progression and induced MM cells death by regulating the ERK, AKT and NF-κB pathways with major effects in TRPV2+ cells. These data provide a rationale for using CBD to increase the activity of proteasome inhibitors in MM.”
