Though fundraising through social media is less personal than through more traditional methods, PeopleBeatingCancer was able to exceed our fundraising goal of $20,000 by spending a little more than $800.00. PBC spent 4% of total revenues to raise over $20,000! PeopleBeatingCancer is both efficient and effective!
On a personal note, I beat last year’s time by about 5 minutes. The picture below was taken with Dawn and the three cyclists who escort me throughout the entire marathon.
The Fall Fundraiser is Saturday, October 18th at Katie and Charlie Lougheed’s house again this year. Delicious food and wine will be served at the event again this year! Everyone has a great time last year- lots of great pictures of last year’s event-
