Another hint for making a Tasty Fruit Smoothie is to add  frozen fruit. I like my smoothie to be cold.

I am a long-term multiple myeloma survivor living with chemo brain, chemo-induced heart damage, risk of secondary cancers along with other collateral damage from aggressive conventional therapies taken when I was first diagnosed. Maintaining good health is a high priority for me. The easiest, tastiest therapy are my breakfast Fruit Smoothie.

All sorts of studies cite nutrition and diet as a great way to either heal my side effects or prevent further damage (late stage side effects). The challenge is how to get healthy foods inside me while I manage my day.

One fast, easy, tasty nutritional therapy? Flax Meal + Chia Seeds , Protein Powder and fresh fruitin my smoothie every morning. For the record, I’m not a cook. Also, I don’t have much time to fix breakfast for both me and my high school aged son before I drive Alex to school.

I need a fast, simple way to get protein, fruits/veggies, Flax Meal + Chia Seeds , inside me and my son. I have found it easier to chop and add fruit with my morning smoothie. Adding veggies has always been a challenge for me. Flax Meal + Chia Seeds is my way of adding plant-based nutrition. The solution? I’ve been using a Magic Bullet since Christmas of 2013. The Magic Bullet is well reviewed on Amazon. I love it as do hundreds of users. The key is the ease of use and easy clean-up.

Chop up one banana, whatever other fruit you may have in the fridge, one scoop of Protein Powder, a scoop of chia/flax seeds and top it off with your favorite juice or coconut water. Keep in mind that Protein Powder usually tastes chalky. Be sure, therefore, to blend your Protein Powder with several fruits and add fruit juice or coconut water.
