Recently Diagnosed or Relapsed? Stop Looking For a Miracle Cure, and Use Evidence-Based Therapies To Enhance Your Treatment and Prolong Your Remission

Multiple Myeloma an incurable disease, but I have spent the last 25 years in remission using a blend of conventional oncology and evidence-based nutrition, supplementation, and lifestyle therapies from peer-reviewed studies that your oncologist probably hasn't told you about.

Multiple Myeloma Treatment- Similarities to Alzheimer’s are Astounding

Researchers are also more aware that Alzheimer’s complexities suggest that the way forward will involve multi-pronged interventions, not a silver bullet.

The similarities between the world of multiple myeloma treatment, MM research and the world of Alzheimer’s research astounds me. I am a long-term MM survivor. The Washington Post article linked and excerpted below has it all:

  • “expected to highlight a number of recent trends in the field”…
  • “the disease’s complexities suggest that the way forward will involve multi-pronged interventions, not a silver bullet
  • “pose different degrees of risks for different groups of people,”…
  • “identifying more effective ways to detect the disease in its early stages and treat, delay or prevent it seems less far-fetched”…
  • “the multi-targeted approach will include changes in lifestyle to reduce the risk of developing”…

Please don’t misunderstand me. Alzheimer’s disease is a horrible chronic, memory stealing, incurable disease. To some degree that’s my point. The “multi-targeted approach” that this article refers to is already here. I do it every day, every week to remain in complete remission from my “incurable” cancer- multiple myeloma.

I exercise, supplement, undergo whole body hyperthermia (detox), and more to remain in complete remission from multiple myeloma.  Everything I do/take is/are evidence-based therapies to reduce the risk of Alzheimer’s outright or the risk of “cognitive impairment.” Please consider these nutritional supplements to be your “multi-targeted” approach. I supplement with all three- Life Extension Curcumin, Omega 3 and Resveratrol- all are supplements that are cytoxic (kill) multiple myeloma.

  1. Curcumin- The effect of curcumin (turmeric) on Alzheimer’s disease: An overview
  2. Omega 3 Fatty AcidsThe effects of long-term omega-3 fatty acid supplementation on cognition and Alzheimer’s pathology in animal models of Alzheimer’s disease: a systematic review and meta-analysis.
  3. Resveratrol-Resveratrol, a neuroprotective supplement for Alzheimer’s disease.

I am a MM survivor and MM cancer coach. Do you have multiple myeloma? Cognitive impairment? Scroll down the page, post a question or comment and I will reply to you ASAP.

Thanks

Alzheimer’s scientists to meet in D.C. amid signs of progress for treatment

“The Alzheimer’s Association International Conference, which runs from Sunday through Thursday, is expected to highlight a number of recent trends in the field…

Researchers are also more aware that the disease’s complexities suggest that the way forward will involve multi-pronged interventions, not a silver bullet. And a growing body of evidence also suggests that those interventions will not just involve taking medications, but embracing changes in lifestyle, such as diet, sleep habits and physical exercise

What’s more, researchers more than ever understand that Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias pose different degrees of risks for different groups of people, such as women and minorities, and may even develop in their bodies in different ways

Several leading scientists say the field has matured to the point that the possibility of identifying more effective ways to detect the disease in its early stages and treat, delay or prevent it seems less far-fetched — even as they also say that their work remains relatively underfunded compared to other diseases such as heart disease, cancer or HIV/AIDS

As science further illuminates the biochemical pathways that lead to dementia, researchers are also more focused on the notion that a multi-pronged approach to treatment will emerge

Their research suggests that the multi-targeted approach will include changes in lifestyle to reduce the risk of developing dementia and maintain a healthy brain….”
