Mind-Body Therapy is essential for all Newly Diagnosed Multiple Myeloma Patients. Reading the five books below is an excellent place to begin your therapy
Living with an “incurable” cancer since 1994 has taught me that the newly diagnosed multiple myeloma patient requires as much mind-body therapy as drug-based therapy. It is impossible for me to overstate the importance of the five books listed below to multiple myeloma patients, survivors and caregivers. I found the books below to be central to my own MM experience.
That is why I have written a blog about recommended reading for the newly diagnosed multiple myeloma patient. That is why I think that reading the books below will help the cancer patient “get your mind right” as the warden said in the movie Cool Hand Luke.
My list of reading for the myeloma patient are those books that I found to be essential to my learning manage my day to day therapy, and my day to day thinking. It is by no means meant to be a complete list of books about cancer. Many of the books below are not even about cancer.
If you would like me to consider a book that you found to be helpful in your own cancer experience, please scroll down the page and tell me. Your input is appreciated.
