ReplyDavid my Dad has just been diagnosed with SMM. He is 77 yrs old. We feel we have time to try natural therapy first. He has had life threatening pneumonia 6 months ago and we are afraid chemo will make his body so weak he could get pneumonia again and this time not make it thru it. We are researching. I ran across your website and at that time found a question where the person asked you for dosages to your regimen. You listed those for that person. I cannot for the life of me find that again! Do you mind again stating your everyday drug regimen with dosages? You even had links to the individual vitamins, etc to Amazon which had pricing. We are placing our faith in God and in your advice. I feel you are real in your desire to help people. I will leave a comment a few months down the road as we see how this works for my Dad. Thank you so much.
ReplyHI Cheryl-
I am sorry to learn of your dad’s SMM diagnosis. There is a good chance that the SMM is slow moving or slow to progress.
I agree with your thinking that chemotherapy might be tough for your dad to handle at 77 years of age. Your dad’s challenge is to balance quality with quantity of life at this point.
Both MGUS and SMM are considered to be pre-MM and most oncologists recommend no therapy. Though your dad should have his m-spike checked frequently as well as other blood work to keep an eye on any progression of SMM.
Re your question about doses or regimen of drugs. I take evidence-based supplements and antioxidants not drugs. I tell people what I do and recommend that they follow dosing directions on the bottle of the supplement that they buy.
When your dad was diagnosed did he have any symptoms (other than a weakened immune system) such as kidney damage (creatinine levels), bone pain, or anemia (tired)? Low iron, hemoglobin, etc?
It is important to be clear that I am not a professional in any way. I do not prescribe drugs or take drugs for my MM. I am a long-term MM survivor and MM cancer coach. The multiple myeloma cancer coaching program is based on 22 plus years of research and how I manage my own MM through evidence-based, anti-MM nutrition, supplementation, bone health, lifestyle and mind-body therapy. BTW, spirituality has been shown to help as a real therapy.

ReplyYou should be ashamed of yourself. This is just a damn money maker.
ReplyHi Jeff-
PBC is a 501c3 non-profit. Our mission is to demystify cancer. PBC incurs about 40k in expenses annually such as web hosting, web development, the AD salary, etc. I make no money from PBC. Approx. 40% of our annual revenues come from individual donations. Another 50% comes from corporate donations and grants. Cancer coaching, donations from cancer patients, makes up the balance. All of this information is outlined in our financial statements linked to the home page.
If you are a MM patient or survivor and you pursue only conventional MM therapy you will relapse until nothing more can be done for you. You owe it to yourself and your caregivers to learn about and consider evidence-based anti-MM therapies.
Thanks for your feedback.
