“Chemosensitivity Testing-The screening method suggests which commonly prescribed multiple myeloma drug or combination of drugs should be considered first for a particular patient”

Testing one’s multiple myeloma in an effort to determine which MM chemotherapy drug or drugs will work best for you aka “chemosensitivity testing” is a great concept.

So great, in fact, that the idea has been around for years. The first article linked and excerpted below is from 2004, the year that PeopleBeatingCancer was founded. At the time, I thought chemosensitivity testing would revolutionize the diagnosis and treatment of multiple myeloma.

The second article linked below was published more than 10 years later. Chemosensitivity testing is still being trialed/tested. Someday we’ll figure it out.

Have you been diagnosed with multiple myeloma? What stage? What symptoms? Bone pain? Anemia?

I am a long-term myeloma survivor and myeloma cancer coach. Aggressive conventional therapies did little for me. I live an evidence-based, non-toxic, anti-MM lifestyle through nutrition, supplementation, bone health and more.

Please watch the video below to learn more about the evidence-based, integrative therapies to combat treatment side effects and enhance your chemotherapy.
