The list of health benefits of omega-3 fatty acids (fish oil) listed below may seem endless. And it might seem impossible for daily dose of omega-3 fatty acids to provide all the of the health and multiple myeloma therapies below but its not.

I’m a long-term multiple myeloma survivor living with a host of long-term and late stage chemotherapy side effects including chemo brain, chemotherapy-induced cardiomyopathy (CIC), radiation-induced nerve damage and a risk of treatment related secondary cancers.

According to the studies linked and excerpted below omega 3 fatty acid supplementation helps me remain in complete remission, prevent new cancers, and manage many of the previous long-term and late side effects that I contracted all those years ago.

The list of health benefits of omega 3 fatty acids supplementation is long. Omega 3 fatty acids are a wonder drug. Most importantly of all, omega-3 fatty acids are non-toxic. I have been supplementing with it for years and plan on taking it for the rest of my life.

I take one capsule daily of Life Extension Super Omega 3 EPA/DHA with Sesame Lignans and Olive Fruit to insure all I get all of the health benefits below and I encourage you to do so as well.

Have you been diagnosed with multiple myeloma? Are you trying to learn about multiple myeloma therapy- both conventional FDA approved and evidence-based, non-conventional MM therapy? To learn more, scroll down the page, post a question or comment and I will reply to you ASAP.

Clearing the fog: a review of the effects of dietary omega-3 fatty acids and added sugars on chemotherapy-induced cognitive deficits

“Evidence suggests that chemotherapy influences cognition through reductions in hippocampal neurogenesis and neuroinflammation, which affect memory and cognitive function. This review highlights dietary modifications that may have the potential to protect against or ameliorate some of the negative cognitive side effects so commonly associated with chemotherapy treatment…”

The Role of Omega-3 Fatty Acids in Heart Failure: A Meta-Analysis of Randomised Controlled Trials

“Conclusions- In conclusion, treatment with omega-3 PUFAs decreased the BNP and SNE levels and increased the LVEF in DCM patients. These findings suggest that omega-3 PUFAs might be beneficial to HF patients, but the evidence is not definitive. In the future, high-quality RCTs with large numbers of participants are needed to investigate the optimal dosage and components of omega-3 PUFAs to improve the prognostic outcomes of HF patients…”
