Hi Cindy-
The research isn’t established. There is some reason for NO to combat blood cancers but no study I have ever read documents NO combating MM.

ReplyMultiple Myeloma an incurable disease, but I have spent the last 25 years in remission using a blend of conventional oncology and evidence-based nutrition, supplementation, and lifestyle therapies from peer-reviewed studies that your oncologist probably hasn't told you about.
Click the orange button to the right to learn more about what you can start doing today.
If you study multiple myeloma (MM) long enough you begin to see patterns. If you’ve received a MM diagnosis and you are looking to manage your health differently than what conventional oncology is offering then consider inflammation possibly causing your MM. Consider anti-inflammatory multiple myeloma treatment.
The role of inflammation (inflame) in MM is one of the patterns that has been studied and written about repeatedly over the years. The links below link some of the studies that I have blogged about.
I am not saying that inflammation causes all cancers at all stages. Nor am I saying that reducing inflammation will cure all cancers at all stages. What I am saying is that I believe that the nutritional supplementation below:
All of the supplements above have been shown to reduce the risk of cancer, all reduce inflammation and all contribute to my ongoing cancer-free status. All of these supplements are inexpensive and are over-the-counter natural therapies. Evidence-based research has also identified these nutritional supplements as therapies to reduce chronic pain, reduce the risk of diabetes, reduce the risk of dementia and even slow aging.
At the very least, inflammation contributes to a multiple myeloma diagnosis and antioxidants that are anti-inflammatory are therefore multiple myeloma therapy. For that matter, fruits and veggies are anti-inflammatory and MM therapy as well.
I am a long-term MM survivor and MM coach. For more information about evidence-based, non-toxic multiple myeloma therapy to reduce the risk of MM relapse, scroll down the page, post a question or comment and I will reply ASAP.
Thank you,
David Emerson
“Multiple myeloma (MM) is a B-cell malignancy critically dependent for survival and proliferation on signals coming from the microenvironment.1 These include most prominently the inflammatory cytokine IL-6 as well as other cytokines and growth factors such as TNFα and IL-13.
Two articles in the Journal, now report that MM express a vast repertoire of Toll-like receptors (TLR) and that TLR ligands potently promote the proliferation and survival of these malignant cells (Jego G et al. and Bohnhorst J et al.).
These results provide a fresh new perspective on the interaction between an inflammatory microenvironment and MM…”
“Chronic inflame caused by disease or exposure to dangerous chemicals has long been linked to cancer, but exactly how this process takes place has remained unclear.
Now, a precise mechanism by which chronic inflame can lead to cancer has been uncovered by researchers at MIT — a development that could lead to improved targets for preventing future tumors…
As many as one in five cancers are believed to be caused or promoted by inflam. These include mesothelioma, a type of lung cancer caused by inflam following chronic exposure to asbestos, and colon cancer in people with a history of inflammatory bowel disease…
Inflammation is part of the body’s innate response to invading pathogens or potentially harmful irritants. The immune system attacks the invader with a number of reactive molecules designed to neutralize it, including hydrogen peroxide, nitric oxide and hypochlorous acid.
However, these molecules can also cause collateral damage to healthy tissue around the infection site: “The presence of a foreign pathogen activates the immune response, which tries to fight off the bacteria, but in this process it also damages some of the normal cells,” Fedeles explains…”
“Chemoradation increases inflammation. Losing weight, moderate regular exercise, supplementation such as curcumin, resveratrol, epigallocatechin gallate, genistein, lycopene, and anthocyanins reduce inflammation…”
Is it coincidence that five of the most effective nutrition supplements to reduce your risk of cancers and other chronic diseases are the same five supplements that are also reduce inflammation in your body? And considering the study linked and excerpted below, is also coincidence that inflammation is the best predictor of successful aging…?
